Voices from the past
Extensive travels to Baja California, Mexico, left the singer intrigued by the old colonial missions she came across. They brought back memories of music from her past and numerous concerts she performed in churches in Europe. In March of 2007 Christel performed a concert at the remote Mission “San Francisco de Borja Adac” in the desert heart of the peninsula. This concert of favorite sacred arias from the times the missions were founded was recorded as her second album “Musica Sacra” and released in december of 2007.
